You can see the sand dunes from each cottage. Each one is equipped with some family books to read and indoor games to play. There is a small cooler and 9 folding chairs (one is child-size) you may take to the beach.

Enjoy visiting State Parks, boating, shopping in quaint shops, or just beachin' it?? South Haven is the place for you!! Plenty of restaraunts you can trust, still the hometown feel.

Numerous activities, or just relax...

Downtown South Haven has plenty of shopping opportunities, delicious rstaurants, a bakery that can't be beat and a seasonal Farmer's Market which overflows with fresh local produce and flowers. The Good Ship is docked at the Maritime Museum and can be booked for sailings; jet ski, canoe and kayak rentals can also be found downtown. The Kal-Haven trailhead begins in South Haven and a private group is in the process of cleaning and clearing up the Black River for canoe and kayak use.

These are critical dunes - they are always moving. While sometimes we would like things to stay the same, in this situation, new adventures are brought with the blowing sands.

This wide sandy beach goes for miles - if it weren't for a small section of rugged boulders a ways ahead in the direction the picture above is looking, one would be able to walk all the way to the public beaches of South Haven in a short time.
