WELCOME TO FLIP FLOP RENTALS
We began our rentals in 2008 with two completely remodeled/refurbished cottages just south of South Haven, MI and added an apartment rental thirty miles west of downtown Chicago in 2010. Our whole family has been involved in our rentals from designing and doing the remodel work to helping with the financial end to actually working on site with the maintenance and beautification of our properties. We thoroughly enjoy the process of meeting prospective guests, usually by e-mail or phone, but occasionally in person. Normally, Kathy is the person you will be speaking with about availability and details about our properties.
WEST CHICAGO, ILLINOIS This delightful two bedroom, 2nd floor apartment in our home is a creative way to do the Windy City and the western suburban area inexpensively. It is probably more like a bed and breakfast situation, but instead, you do your own cooking and pack your own picnic lunches to take on your outings in your own beautiful, fully equipped kitchen. We are located about 30 miles west of downtown Chicago and it takes about an hour to get there by car or the Metra train. Our central location in DuPage County makes specialty shopping and site-seeing in the suburbs quite convenient.

SOUTH HAVEN, MICHIGAN You can have the best of both worlds: two very private cottages in a small, wooded community of unpaved roads that all dead end into the dunes, nestled in the beautiful critical sand dunes of Lake Michigan; and yet just minutes south of downtown South Haven. A quiet place where families and friends can unwind from over-busy schedules, reconnect with each other, read stories together, roast marshmallows or pop popcorn over the campfire, or just swing or snooze in the hammocks. You can climb up the unspoiled dunes to get that unsurpassed view of Lake Michigan, and then race down the other side to make your way to the beach...play in the Lake, catch some rays, skip stones, watch the boats and kite surfers, or walk for hours along the uncrowded sugar sand beach. Or you can take a stroll on the meandering path through the woods around the dunes to view the Lake. Because of harsh winters the last several years, erosion has made the beach inaccessible using this path.
